Nirmala Sitharaman, set to present her 9th Budget, once worked as saleswoman in London

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who is set to present the Budget on February 1 for the ninth consecutive time, once worked as a saleswoman in London. She was employed at Habitat, a home decor store in London, and has also served as an assistant to an economist of UK's Agricultural Engineers Association. She was also a senior manager at PwC.
