Nirmala Sitharaman gives her shortest Budget speech at 87 minutes

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman delivered her shortest Union Budget speech so far on Wednesday, which lasted for 87 minutes. While presenting last year's Budget, Sitharaman spoke for around 90 minutes, which was her shortest Budget speech at the time. She set the record for the longest Budget speech on February 1, 2020, when she spoke for 162 minutes.
