Nissan, Renault in talks to merge, to make new firm: Reports

Japanese automaker Nissan and French carmaker Renault are in talks to merge and create a new company, according to reports. Renault currently owns 43% of Nissan while the Japanese carmaker has a 15% stake in its French counterpart. Chairman of Renault-Nissan Alliance Carlos Ghosn will be appointed to run the combined entity, reports added.
