A final-year student of NIT Warangal in Telangana allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of his hostel building on Sunday. Identified as Sanketh Kumar Suryavamsi, the 22-year-old civil engineering student hailed from Latur in Maharashtra, police said. According to media reports, Sanketh had slashed his wrists before jumping from the building.
