NITI Aayog denies report claiming it suggested 2-year construction ban

NITI Aayog denied a report headlined "NITI calls for two-year construction ban as West Asia crisis drains economy" published in The Tribune. "This is to clarify that no such recommendation in any form has been made by NITI Aayog calling for a construction ban," it said. Urban Affairs Ministry is overseeing the reconstruction plan for various office buildings, it added.
