Nitin Gadkari ditches car, travels by bus after PM Modi's 'save-fuel' appeal

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari travelled by bus instead of using his official convoy during an inspection of the highway project in Maharashtra's Pune on Thursday. The move came after PM Narendra Modi appealed for fuel conservation amid the West Asia conflict. Several BJP leaders have also reduced convoy usage and adopted alternative modes of travel.
