Nitin Gadkari to sue Meta, X & Google over E20 deepfake videos: Report

Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari secured the Bombay High Court's permission to sue Meta, X, Google and other platforms over allegedly defamatory AI-generated deepfake videos, Bar and Bench reported. Gadkari has alleged the AI content falsely links him and his family to profits from the Centre's ethanol-blended fuel program. He stated that he has no role in the program.
