Bihar CM and Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar took oath as a member of Rajya Sabha on Friday. Nitish, following his election to the Rajya Sabha, had resigned from the Bihar Legislative Council (MLC) on March 30. Nitish began his political journey as an MLA in 1985 and later served as a Union Minister under Atal Bihari Vajpayee government.
