Nitish Reddy creates history, becomes 1st Indian to hit ton batting at 8 in Australia

All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has become the first Indian cricketer to hit hundred while batting at number eight in international cricket on Australian soil. The 21-year-old reached the three-figure mark off 171 deliveries on Day 3 of the Boxing Day Test. Nitish is also the first-ever cricketer to hit century batting at number eight in international cricket in Melbourne.
