No agreement between Andhra discoms and Adani firms: YSRCP on US' bribery charges

Andhra Pradesh ex-CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP said there was no "direct agreement" between state discoms and Adani Group firms after US SEC levelled bribery charges against Gautam Adani. YSRCP said the state government decided to buy power from Centre-owned SECI at ₹2.49/kWh as its traditional procurement was costing ₹5.10/kWh.
