No bureaucrat should be pro-party: Congress on Maha DGP's transfer

Congress MP Syed Naseer Hussain reacted to the transfer of Maharashtra DGP Rashmi Shukla by the EC ahead of polls. "This wasn't just our demand. Everyone knew what was happening. But...a lot of damage has already happened due to this delayed decision," Hussain said. "No police official or bureaucrat should be pro-government or pro-party. They should work independently," he added.
