No CBI probe into creation of extra teacher posts: SC on WB school jobs scam

Supreme Court on Tuesday said there will be no CBI inquiry into West Bengal government's creation of additional posts to accommodate over 25,000 teaching and non-teaching staff sacked from state's School Service Commission. SC said this while setting aside Calcutta HC's order directing CBI inquiry into the matter. SC said courts had been barred from investigating decisions by a cabinet.
