No charge for using RuPay credit card for UPI transactions up to ₹2,000: NPCI

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on Tuesday said there'll be no charges on use of RuPay credit cards on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) for transactions worth up to ₹2,000. As per an NPCI circular, UPI apps would ensure complete transparency on transactions using a credit card. The step has been taken to encourage wider acceptance of RuPay cards.
