In remarks that must be very reassuring to India, Bhutanese PM Tshering Tobgay has ruled out the possibility of his government permitting China to open its embassy in Thimpu. This assurance followed a day after Narendra Modi concluded his first-ever foreign visit as new PM. There have been concerns in India over China's attempts to establish diplomatic ties with Bhutan.
