No communal riot has taken place in UP since 2017: CM Yogi

Addressing the Uttar Pradesh state Assembly, CM Yogi Adityanath cited NCRB's data and said that no incident of communal riots had taken place since 2017. "Between 2012 and 2017, 815 communal riots took place and 192 people were killed," he further said. His remarks came days after violence broke out in Sambhal during a court-monitored survey of a mosque.
