No decision taken: Govt on raising ethanol blending beyond 20%

Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Suresh Gopi said Centre has not taken any decision to increase ethanol blending in petrol beyond 20%. Any such move will be considered after scientific studies and consultations with stakeholders, he added. Addressing concerns over vehicle performance, he said government hasn't received any substantiated complaints from manufacturers or consumers.
