Former Mumbai cricketer Aditya Tare said MS Dhoni should keep wickets for 20 overs for CSK because he is excellent behind the stumps, adding, "No disrespect to Sanju Samson's wicket-keeping, but you need that experience." He noted, "CSK need Dhoni more than ever...CSK debutants Kartik Sharma and Prashant Veer need that guidance of someone as experienced as Dhoni."
