No 'Greta effect' on Lufthansa's passenger numbers, says CEO

Lufthansa expects the number of its passengers to rise four per cent this year, not seeing any "Greta effect" on booking levels, the German airline's CEO Carsten Spohr said. This follows activists led by 16-year-old Swedish activist Greta Thunberg boycotting air travel amid carbon emission concerns. "Climate change discussions aren't causing restraint with bookings. People want to fly," he said.
