No harassment over long hair: Keralam child rights panel

The Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights said boys and children whose gender has not been specified cannot be harassed, excluded from classes or discriminated against merely for keeping long hair. It said schools should prioritise children’s academic and personality development rather than their physical appearance.
