No ICC World T20 in 2018, next edition to be held in 2020

The International Cricket Council on Sunday announced that the ICC World T20 event scheduled for 2018 will be scrapped, with the next edition of the tournament being scheduled for 2020. The council has taken the decision as the top member nations will be busy with bilateral commitments in 2018. The venue for the 2020 edition has not been decided yet.
