No injuries, damages reported after earthquake hits northern Italy
A 4.4 magnitude earthquake hit northern Italy on Saturday, the Italian Geophysics and Volcanology Institute (INGV) said, with no reports of injuries or damages. The earthquake struck near the city of Bergamo, at a depth of 26 kilometres (16 miles), the INGV said. A 5.4 magnitude earthquake earlier on Saturday hit southern Greece, the Athens Geodynamic Institute reported.
