No issue with SIR in K'taka: Congress minister as he defends deletion of voter names

Congress minister Satish Jarkiholi defended the deletion of 9.93 million names from electoral roll in Karnataka after SIR, saying, "No issue with SIR." He added that the deleted entries were of people who had died, shifted or were registered more than once. His remark came even as Karnataka Congress chief BK Hariprasad questioned the exclusion of voters classified as absent.
