Ousted former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina criticised a Bangladeshi politician’s recent remarks on India’s Northeast and the Chicken’s Neck, calling them “dangerous and irresponsible.” She said extremist elements have gained influence under Muhammad Yunus, adding that no serious leader would threaten a neighbour Bangladesh depends on for trade, transit and regional stability.
