No live-in relation at cost of nation's social fabric: HC on married woman, lover's plea

Allahabad High Court has dismissed a petition filed by a married woman and her live-in partner seeking police protection, alleging threats from her husband. While dismissing the plea, the bench of Justice Renu Agarwal said, "Live-in-relationship cannot be at the cost of the country's social fabric...Directing police to grant protection...may indirectly give our assent to such illicit relations."
