No lockdown in Maharashtra, strict restrictions from 8 pm tomorrow: CM Thackeray

Addressing the people of the state amid rising coronavirus cases, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray announced that strict restrictions will come into effect in the state from 8 pm on Wednesday for 15 days. "Section 144 will be imposed in the entire state from tomorrow. I'll not term this as lockdown," he stated. Essential services are exempted from the rule.
