BJP says 'no loss for party' after Annamalai resigns

Tamil Nadu BJP chief Nainar Nagenthran said K Annamalai's exit from the BJP is "no loss" for the party. Nagendran, who succeeded Annamalai in the Tamil Nadu unit of the party, stated that the party will continue to strengthen its organisational base and political presence in Tamil Nadu. Annamalai has revealed that he will contest the next general elections independently.
