No major issues noticed in bulk SMSes as new norms enforced: TRAI

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has said that no major issues of disruption were noticed on Thursday as it resumed the process of scrubbing out unregistered commercial messages. The issues were limited to a few cases, it added. TRAI had asked banks and telemarketers to comply with the new bulk SMS norms by March 31 to avoid any disruption.
