No need to panic: Govt as 2 cases of Omicron COVID-19 variant found in Karnataka

After two cases of Omicron COVID-19 variant were detected in Karnataka, the Health Ministry said, "We need not panic, but awareness is absolutely essential." "COVID-appropriate behaviour is required. Not going to and not organising mass gatherings will help in breaking chain of transmission of Omicron," it added. "Increased vaccine uptake is the need of the hour," the ministry further said.
