No new Tamil film to release from Sept: Producers' body over 8-week OTT release demand

The Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) and Tamil Nadu Active Producers Association announced that no new Tamil films will be released after September 1. This follows Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association and distributors deciding to screen films only if they premiere on OTT after eight-week theatrical window. TFPC said it can't accept such decisions taken by them without consulting producers.
