No objection to restoration of Mallya's assets to banks: ED

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday told a special court it had no objection to restoration of fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya's properties to a consortium of banks led by SBI. The banks should, however, give an undertaking to return the amount claimed if the court deems it "fit" in future, it added. The banks claimed an amount of ₹6,200 crore.
