No one owes Air India a living: Singapore MP on Air India seeking billions from Singapore Airlines

Singapore MP Kenneth Tiong criticised Air India's reported move seeking $1.5 billion from its owners, Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Tata Sons, as it continues to make losses. Noting that Singapore government-owned Temasek owns SIA, Tiong implied that SIA would use Singaporean taxpayer money to fund Air India. "No one, least of all Singaporeans, owes Air India a living," he added.
