'No side effect from Covaxin,' say makers amid Covishield row

The Covaxin was developed with a single-minded focus on safety first and there are no side effects, said its maker Bharat Biotech on Thursday. This comes after Covishield maker AstraZeneca admitted that its COVID-19 vaccine can cause side effects in rare cases. Bharat Biotech added that the safety of Covaxin was also evaluated by the Ministry of Health.
