No tourist visa if trip's intention is birth of child for citizenship: US

US reiterated that tourist visa applications will be denied if officers believe primary purpose of travel is to give birth in US in a bid to obtain US citizenship for child. This isn't permitted, US embassy in India said. US President Donald Trump earlier signed order to end birthright citizenship, which grants citizenship to everyone born on American soil.
