No tsunami threat to India: Hyderabad-based INCOIS issues advisory

The Hyderabad-based Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) has issued an advisory of ‘No tsunami threat’ to India, following an earthquake of magnitude 7.3 on the Richter scale that hit Indonesia’s Flores Sea. “INCOIS will monitor sea-level changes near the epicentre region and report in case of the tsunami threat," the advisory said.
