No vision, just a feel-good moment: Tharoor on PM Modi's video message

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Friday criticised PM Narendra Modi's appeal to switch off electric lights and light candles for nine minutes on April 5 amid coronavirus lockdown. Terming PM the "Pradhan Showman", Tharoor called his video message "just a feel-good moment curated by India's Photo-Op Prime Minister". There was no vision of the future in the message, he added.
