No water, no vote; no infra, no tax: Pune residents ahead of polls

Residents of South Pune have threatened to not vote in Maharashtra elections unless their demands over civic amenities are met. Residents have put up banners in local areas with the slogans 'No Water, No Vote' and 'No Infra, No Tax'. A local emphasised that the community has been patient for years but can no longer tolerate absence of basic amenities.
