Nobel Prize in Economics awarded to Claudia Goldin for her work on women in labour market
The 2023 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences has been awarded to American economist and Harvard University's Professor Claudia Goldin. She was awarded "for having advanced our understanding of women's labour market outcomes", the Nobel Prize committee said. "Goldin's research has given us new and often surprising insights into women's historical and contemporary roles in the labour market," it added.
