Noel Tata to step down as Voltas chairman after 9 years

Noel Tata will step down as chairman of Voltas at the end of his term in November after nine years in the role, he announced at the company's 72nd annual general meeting on Tuesday. His retirement will align with Tata Group's governance guidelines, which prescribe a retirement age of 70 for non-executive directors. Noel was appointed non-executive chairman in 2017.
