Noida Metro dedicates station to transgenders; names it 'Pride Station'

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has dedicated its Sector 50 station to the transgender community and has renamed it 'Pride Station'. Six transgender employees of NMRC will work at the station and they were also present at the name's unveiling. The initiative is the first-of-its-kind by any Metro network in Northern India, NMRC said.
