Noida Police rescues 2 girls from Jharkhand trafficked as housemaids

Two minor sisters who were trafficked as housemaids in Noida have been rescued by the police, officials said on Monday. Notably, a couple in Noida had employed them through an agency. "The police had inputs that the girls were kept as slaves and forcefully made to work in the household...after which the action was taken," a police spokesperson said.
