Nokia to bring 4G to the Moon, gets $14.1 mn NASA funding

US' space exploration agency NASA said it will provide Nokia with $14.1 million in funding to build a 4G LTE network on the Moon. The funding comes as part of NASA's Artemis project, which aims to have humans on the Moon by 2024 and a sustainable presence by 2030. SpaceX, Lockheed Martin and United Launch Alliance also got funding.
