Nokia shuts plant in Tamil Nadu after some employees test positive for Covid-19

Nokia on Tuesday said it suspended operations at its telecom gear manufacturing plant in Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu last week after some employees tested positive for Covid-19. "We hope to resume operations soon at a restricted level with skeletal staff strength," the company said. Nokia added it had already implemented measures such as social distancing and changes to canteen facilities.
