Nokia to lay off 3,000 employees in India: Report

Nokia plans to lay off around 20% of its employees in India as part of its global restructuring programme, Moneycontrol reported. Considering that the telecommunication company's headcount was around 17,000 last year, this could mean that over 3,000 staffers will be fired. "Employees in non core business will be impacted globally and in India," a source told Moneycontrol.
