Nominee for Delhi HC judge post was convicted of fatal car crash: Report
Advocate Amit Prasad, one of the eight lawyers being considered for elevation as a judge in Delhi High Court, was convicted in 2011 for a car crash in 1996 that killed a person, HT reported. Prasad was released on probation of good conduct. He entered legal profession in 1998. The report added law doesn't bar Prasad from holding judge's office.
