Non-subsidised LPG price hiked by ₹144.5/cylinder in steepest rise since 2014

Non-subsidised LPG price was hiked by ₹144.5 per cylinder from ₹714 to ₹858.50 per 14.2-kg cylinder in Delhi on Wednesday. This is the steepest hike in rates since January 2014 when prices had gone up by ₹220 per cylinder. However, the government has also increased the subsidy from ₹153.86 per cylinder to ₹291.48 for domestic users, officials said.
