North Korea launched an unidentified ballistic missile eastward on Wednesday, according to South Korea's military, as reported by Yonhap News Agency. The Joint Chiefs of Staff said it detected the launch but gave no further details. Tokyo too confirmed the event, warning vessels to take caution. The launch follows a new 600 mm multiple rocket launcher test on September 12.
