A severe solar storm has caused the Northern Lights or aurora borealis to be visible in parts of the world where the phenomenon is not typically seen. Northern Lights were reported across parts of Europe, Asia and the US on Monday night. Many Twitter users shared photos of the space weather phenomenon on Tuesday morning.
