Norway's King Harald V passed away aged 89 on Friday. He breathed his last at an Oslo hospital after his health deteriorated following his admission last week for treatment of a rare blood condition. Harald became King in 1991 after his father King Olav V’s death and reigned for over 35 years. He has been succeeded by his son Haakon.
