Norway to allow US to build facilities on its soil under new deal

Norway said that it has signed a revised agreement with the US which will allow America to build facilities at four Norwegian military bases. These facilities, which will not amount to separate US bases, will be in line with Norway's policy of not allowing foreign bases to be established in peacetime. The deal has to be ratified by Norway's Parliament.
