Not ₹22,000 crore: Subhash Chandra as he gets nod to pay ₹6.5 cr for ₹22,000-cr dues

Zee Founder Subhash Chandra responded after NCLT allowed him to pay ₹6.5 crore to settle dues worth ₹22,000 crore. He clarified that he hasn't borrowed any money and was simply a personal guarantor for loans worth ₹3,992 crore, not ₹22,000 crore. He said he'd signed on as guarantor as many "lenders made emotional appeals" that employees would lose their jobs.
